Knowledgeable in all areas of United Kingdom and Community registered and unregistered design rights, Scott Farnsworth is well known for his attention to the technical aspects of design law and practice regarding abstraction, configuration, derivation, methods of construction, and copying, with attention to competitor and sector activity, design amendment, ownership, validity, and infringement.  Scott’s advice, written materials, and submissions often combine with associated aspects of patent law: he has appeared frequently in proceedings before the Patents Court, the IPEC, and the Designs Registry, and he has represented clients in mediations, and at arbitrations across the United Kingdom.
